I have been enthralled by this book! It is surprising to find a procedural book that feels to have truly understood the humans that populate it. Yes, it is a procedural book, there has been a murder, and there is a forensic analyst on the case. But the book is about so much more: the way it is written pays tribute to storytelling traditions that keeps you wanting to understand more. You also get a view about Ghana, that is honest and seems to me (I have not been in Ghana) very respectful. There are funny moments, sad moments, enthralling moments. This is a great written book. In addition, Xavier Pàmies as a translator, I think he did an AMAZING job at capturing the different voices of the characters. Overall, a great book!
