Born in Barcelona in 1959. Graduate in Biology at Universitat de Barcelona. Postgraduate in Translation at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. Translator of English, Portuguese, and French narrative into Catalan language. Giovanni Pontiero Prize for Translation (Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and Instituto Camões, 2001). Ciutat de Barcelona Prize for Translation (2003).
